Boy band “Shinhwa” is set to hold a concert in March in commemoration of its 15th anniversary since its debut.

The concert will be held on March 16 and 17 at the Gymnastics Stadium at Seoul Olympic Park. Further information will be posted on the group’s official website (www.shinhwacompany.co.kr) and online shopping mall Interpark on Wednesday.

The music group said, “We would like to repay the constant love of our fans for the last 15 years. We will show you the greatest concert!”

Shinhwa debuted in 1998 and was one of the most popular idol groups here. The group’s 11th album is to be released in April.

신화, 3월 16-17일 15주년 기념 공연


‘국내 최장수 아이돌 그룹’ 신화가 오는 3월 16-17일 방이동 올림픽공원 체조경기장에서 데뷔 15주년 기념 공연을 한다.

소속사 신화컴퍼니는 30일 이같이 전하면서 “1998년 3월 데뷔한 신화에게 15년간 변함없는 사랑을 보내주신 팬들에게 보답하고자 최고의 공연을 선보일 것”이라고 밝혔다.

이어 “오늘 오후 공식 홈페이지(www.shinhwacompany.co.kr) 및 티켓 예매 사이트 인터파크티켓에 공연 티저 영상과 티켓 오픈 날짜를 공개하겠다”고 덧붙였다.

신화는 서울 공연을 시작으로 아시아 투어에 나설 예정이다. 오는 4월에는 정규 11집 음반도 선보인다.

1998년 1집 ‘해결사’로 데뷔한 신화는 2008년 3월 데뷔 10주년 기념 공연을 한 뒤 멤버들의 군복무 등을 이유로 공백기를 가지다 지난해 3월 정규 10집을 내고 가요계에 복귀했다.
