‘The Wine Club’ event at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s Paris Bar is offering “The Wine Club” event, in which guests can enjoy a selection of tapas-style canapes with premium Italian wines. Held under the theme “Italian Stallions,” the event offers guests a chance to sample a variety of wines from Italy and enjoy unlimited canapes ranging from cheese, steak brochette and more. Wine experts will be present at each table to introduce the wines and pair the most suitable selections according to the preferences of each guest. “The Wine Club” event will take place on May 15 from 7-9 p.m. A lucky draw for hotel vouchers will take place at 8:30 p.m. The event is priced at 93,000 won (83,000 won for DINE@HYATT members), including tax. ‘Cherry & Berry’ dessert buffet at Grand Ambassador Seoul

Grand Ambassador Seoul’s lobby lounge and deli will hold the “Cherry & Berry” dessert every weekend from 2-5 p.m. until June 29. The buffet features 20 different cherry and berry themed desserts including rum savarin with blueberries, amarena and mascarpone trifle, blackberry coulis with caramelized floating island and sandwiches. Beverages such as sweet berry tea, raspberry smoothie and coffee are also available as well. The weekend dessert buffet is priced at 38,000 won for adults and 19,000 won for children, including tax. ‘Diamond Experience’ spa treatment at Park Hyatt Seoul

Park Hyatt Seoul’s Park Club Spa offers the “Diamond Experience” spa treatment for providing immediate wrinkle-smoothing and lifting effects to the skin. Four treatments types, which all use Diamond Collection products from the Spanish brand Natura Bisse, are available. The 60-minute “Quirogolf body massage” -- priced at 265,000 won -- uses massage golf balls to stimulate blood circulation; the 90-minute “Diamond Magnetic Body Polish”-- priced at 360,000 won -- uses electro magneto therapy to eliminate dead skin cells and deliver moisture to the skin; the 90-minute “Diamond Ice Lifting Facial” -- priced at 370,000 won -- delivers molecular energy into the skin for anti-aging effects; and the 150-minute “Diamond Sublime Rituals” -- priced at 590,000 won -- provides a combination of the two previous treatments. Winemaker’s dinner at Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton’s French restaurant Seasons is offering a special Winemaker’s dinner on May 16. The event will feature wines from Stag’s Leap Vineyard (formerly known as Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars) located in Napa Valley, California, as well as a 7-course dinner designed to enhance the flavors of the wine. Stag’s Leap Vineyard became famous when its 1973 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon was voted the top red wine in a blind taste test by leading French wine experts at the Judgment of Paris competition in 1976. The wine dinner will be preceded by a champagne reception at 7 p.m. The dinner, including the reception, meal and wine-tasting, is priced at 220,000 won, including tax and service charge. Outdoor pool to open at Imperial Palace Seoul

Imperial Palace Seoul will open its outdoor pool from June 7 to Sept. 5. The pool is surrounded by Greek columns and features Mediterranean-style wooden tables, chairs and palm trees. Sandwiches, pizza, grilled meat and various beverages are available at the pool as well. A 30-50 percent discount is available for hotel guests from June 7-20 as well as a 50 percent discount for guests entering after 3 p.m. from June 23-July 17 on weekdays. Guests will be able to reserve the pool for a party of 40 or more from May 12-June 6 and from Sept. 10-30. Guests will be able to enjoy a private barbeque with friends and family.
