Cantonese gala dinner at Millennium Seoul Hilton


Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Chinese restaurant Taipan is hosting a “Gourmet Circle” gala dinner on April 22 to showcase the restaurant’s new, Cantonese cuisine-focused menu.

The dinner will commence at 7 p.m. with Chinese traditional tea and Tsingtao beer. Appetizers will include Peking duck and suckling pig stuffed with shrimp paste. The dinner proper will feature an array of delectable dishes such as a Chinese barbecue and cold dish combination, deep fried lobster glazed with fried garlic, steamed lobster with leek and soy sauce, braised sea cucumber on a bed of deep fried tofu, pan fried beef sirloin and foie gras with black pepper sauce.

Chinese traditional music will play in the background to set to mood for this very special gastronomic occasion.

Lotte City Hotel Jeju to offer spring packages


Lotte City Hotel Jeju will present two spring packages until May 31.

The Spring Blossom Package includes a one-night stay at the Executive Room, a foam bath set from British handmade cosmetics brand Lush, and a voucher for two glasses of Three-color Blossom Ade at the hotel’s C’cafe. Breakfast for two is also available for an additional fee of 30,000 won.

The Better than One Night Package includes two-night stay in a Standard Room and a voucher for breakfast.

These packages also include complimentary access to the jacuzzi, heated swimming pool, and dry sauna at the open garden on the sixth floor.

The Spring Blossom Package is priced at 150,000 won and the Better than One Night Package is priced at 140,000 won per night, and 130,000 won per night for those staying more than two nights.

Enjoy early ‘bingsu’ season at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel presents three types of “bingsu” earlier than its season at Lobby Lounge Bar on the 41st floor.

The hotel’s bingsu items include mango bingsu, made with diced mangos and macaroons, berry bingsu, made with fresh berries, and injeolmi red bean bingsu, the traditional combination of injeolmi, red bean paste, and finely shaved frozen milk. Each menu will be served with red beans, condensed milk and nuts on a separate plate.

The mango bingsu is priced at 42,000 won, berry bingsu at 24,200 won, and injeolmi red bean bingsu at 28,600 won.

Family time at Imperial Palace Seoul 

Imperial Palace Seoul introduces family events and a package for the upcoming family month of May, for those who are planning a special event with the family.

On Children’s Day, the hotel will present a vast array of child-friendly activities including face painting, clown performances, and coloring activities. In celebration of Family Month, the hotel’s restaurants will offer complimentary dishes and special menus.

Buffet restaurant Familia will offer a complimentary meal for one child on May 5 and for one adult on May 8, Parents’ Day, if three generations of the family visit together. The adult buffet is priced at 78,000 won for lunch and 88,000 won for dinner.

Japanese restaurant Manyo will serve Gourmet Buffet featuring children’s menu on May 5th.

Chinese restaurant Cheonsan will offer complimentary black bean sauce noodles for one child from May 1-5, and complimentary bottle of wine, lobster tail, or shrimp dish for a couple ordering dinner course on May 6-15.

Belle-Essence Seoul Hotel promotes White Asparagus

Belle-Essence Seoul Hotel’s steakhouse restaurant Manhattan Grill is offering a white asparagus promotion Until May 31.

The restaurant offers exclusive white asparagus set menu for lunch and dinner. The five-course set menu includes smoked salmon and cherry tomato pasta, followed by clam and white asparagus chowder as an appetizer. For the main course, guests can choose between baked white asparagus and grilled U.S. prime beef tenderloin or grilled white asparagus and Korean beef tenderloin. A Vanilla Creme Fraiche will be served as a dessert.

Guests can enjoy la carte menus along with the set menu, such as grilled abalone, half live lobster thermidor.

The set menu is priced from 99,000 won to 110,000 won and a la carte menus cost from 18,000 won to 89,000 won.
