British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran said Wednesday that he is canceling some concerts of his upcoming Asia tour, including one in Seoul, due to an injury he sustained in a cycling accident.

“A visit to my doctors this morning confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future. Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong,” Sheeran was quoted as saying by Private Curve, the promoter for the Seoul concert. “I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details.”

The promoter also said it is unsure whether the concert in Seoul will be rescheduled.

“It is highly unlikely that there will be a concert this year,” a Private Curve official said.

It is also unclear whether Sheeran will go ahead with the rest of the concerts in the tour. He was slated to perform in Manila on Nov. 7 after concerts in Hong Kong, and to continue the tour until Aug. 12.

Sheeran on Monday notified fans via Instagram that he had injured his arm, sharing a picture of his arm in a cast.

The 26-year-old singer is one of the best-selling artists in the world and has a huge following in Korea. His biggest hits here include his breakthrough 2014 ballad “Thinking Out Loud,” and “Shape of You.”
